Best place to put a switch?

Hi,

I am not so sure where to put my switch. I have a TP-Link TL-SG108E V2. It is currently
connected to my Fiber ONT, but I would like to connect to it via my router and phone,
and also use my OpenDNS filtering on it. Would it be a problem to put it on my router?
Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
