A cold wind howls once more over the deserted lands of Aiela. The young couple who founded the pack of Bandar - the last of the Old Ones - has gone, just like the short-lived fall. Where they went, no one knows. Some theorize that they journeyed on to search for more territory and settled in some other distant land. Others say that many strange and bizarre things befell them, and that they met a pitiful end. But no one really knows. The lands of Bandar and Fretta are open to be claimed once more. The Old Ones have gone, and they took their secrets and their knowledge with them.
Now only you are left to fill their place.

Cave Canem is an intermediate-advanced wolf rpg. The gameplay is realistic, though the premise itself is based in fantasy. CC claims its origins in 2004 from a site called Canis Major + Minor (a fantasy wolf rpg created by flutterbyfudge) which I helped run. Much of the content on this site is credited to her and the players of CMM. My goal is to bring back the fantastic atmosphere and creativity we experienced at that site, while starting out on an entirely new plotline. Hunting and pack strength is a very important aspect of the game, and I've designed it in a way which I hope will be both engaging and enjoyable for everyone involved. Will you run with us?
